Dear Brothers and Sisters,

On behalf of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC), an affiliated institution to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), I have the honor to greet you all on the blessed Eid al-Adha.

On these days by offering sacrificial animals Muslims in holy pilgrimage of Hajj and around the world renew the vow by the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) to The Almighty’s call of submission. This sacrifice stands as symbol of greater struggle with our inner self, aimed at perfecting our ethical stance.

While the values of peace, forgiveness, sharing and solidarity advocated by Islam are recalled on this holy occasion, ICYF-DC is renewing its commitment to support the Muslim youth for the sake of the development and achieving better tomorrow for Muslims around the globe.

On these days by sharing sacrificial meats with those in need we give concrete meaning to the ideal of Islamic solidarity and ONE UMMAH. Let’s join in our duas of peace and security for all humanity, including Muslims in the world and who have been suffering from the wars, terror attacks and humanitarian catastrophes, particularly for suffering and struggling peoples of Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Rohingya.

On these days ICYF-DC fulfilling its own part of contribution to the OIC solidarity is working hard to make success its youth-related activities. While dedicating the utmost of our recourses to this cause we are counting on support of our members and all youth throughout Muslim world to enlighten the forthcoming discussion with your ideas and proposals in the areas of youth development and education, participation and entrepreneurship, gender equality and strengthening moral values.

Looking forward to having this important milestone for the OIC youth to create visible impact on development and prosperity of our countries, I wish you all and your families Eid Al Adha Mubarak!

Wassalamu Alaykum wa Rahmat Allahu wa Barakatuhu,

Ambassador Elshad Iskandarov
ICYF-DC President
